I’m sure you’ve read the story of my love of my first Fender Bass. As I’m starting this new site, I’ve got my axe sitting right next to me, on it’s stand, hooked up and ready for some bass lovin’. Owning a classic Fender is an experience that’s pretty unique. There are some awesome bass players out there who DON’T play a Fender, and I’m sure they feel something special for their favorite brand of bass. But damn it, it’s a Fender, and in my eyes, and in the eyes of a lot of other Fender Players, it’s the standard by which all other basses are measured.
So I’m writing this post to introduce what I want to do with this site. I’m trying to convey that feeling, that “that’s MY axe” feeling, of owning a Fender. This site is as much about my love of vintage Fenders, as it is about your love for them as well.
What have we got planned? Plenty. I’d like to invite everyone reading this to submit a photo of you and your classic Fender. Tell everyone your vintage Fender story. If you find an awesome classic Fender out in the wild, let us know! I’d love to highlight these bad-ass basses.

@Pharsesheat, no real forum here, just a blog, but we’re considering it. We’ll keep you posted!
